In this musical, Garou embodied the image of the ugly hunchback Quasimodo, it was thanks to this role that he gained worldwide fame. However, his talent is not limited to this role - he is an outstanding performer in other musical genres.

Born June 26, 1972 in the Canadian city of Sherbrooke, Pierre Garan (real name Garou) began his journey in the world of music since childhood. From the age of three he was given a guitar, and from that moment music became his passion. At the age of 14, Garu moved to Tbilisi, where he began to master the piano and organ. Along this path of musical education, he became active in performing, playing in various bands and singing in the streets and in bars.

Garu continued his creative path with the musical group "The Untouchables", performing blues and rhythm and blues. Over time, he attracted the attention of Luc Plamondon, the creator of the libretto of the musical "Notre-Dame de Paris", and was invited to the role of Quasimodo. This was a turning point in his career - the musical was a huge success, and Garou became famous not only in France, but throughout the world.

After his success with the musical, Garou continued to develop his solo career. His album "Seul", released in 2000, went multiple platinum. His unique voice and passionate performance made each of his compositions unforgettable. Garou held many concerts, winning the hearts of listeners with his music.
